iBeta's Quality Audit

The iBeta Software Quality Audit allows clients to show customers that their software development process has been verified by an independent third party. This quality audit tests for the following:

Process

• The development and documentation process used.
• The defect reporting process and tracking system used; the amount and severity of any outstanding defects.
• The change control and issues resolution process and tracking system used for both pre- and post- deployment issues.

Functionality Testing

• The types of testing included in the test approach: boundary, error handling, error acceptance, user interface, calculation errors, installation, and Un-installation.
• The number and scope of the functional testing passes in the Test Plan.
• The completeness and consistency of the test cases.

Performance

• Local system performance (memory leaks, race conditions etc.).
• Architecture performance (network systems only).

Compatibility

• Compatibility with all targeted OS platforms.
• Compatibility with targeted hardware components and identification of hardware that the application is NOT compatible with.
• Compatibility with third-party software.
