QA Education and iBeta’s QA On-Demand Strategy

Continuous QA Education is the most important part of an on-demand QA testing strategy. At iBeta, we bring on a variety of talented testers, each with their own abilities and skillsets. As such, we continuously nurture and expand the scope of their testing credentials thanks to our on-going training and education program.

For initial training, all testers have access to a rich variety of immersive QA education documentation & resources. These encompass a wide range of topics not limited to:

  • Procedures
  • Defect reporting
  • Terminology
  • Test cases
  • Regression.

Furthermore, we reinforce training with an in-house generated defect-simulator called the “iBeta-ulator”. For the benefit of both experienced and novice testers, the simulator exposes the testers to the realistic application of standardized testing practices; performing test cases, locating defects, writing bug reports and detailing defects into a database.

QA Education is Never Limited to New Testers

Testers gain project-specific experience through the practice of “shadow-testing” (testing in the background alongside ongoing projects.) Essentially, this practice enables additional testers with existing product knowledge to quickly and easily join the team. Shadow testing is especially valuable for projects that experience frequent increases in tester demand. Also, they are instructed in maintaining & setting up clean testing environments on a variety of platforms including the latest in Mac OSX, Windows, web browsers, Android & iOS mobile devices, etc.

QA Training is Ongoing

iBeta maintains continuous research and knowledge expansion in the areas of OS, Mobile Devices, and agile (continuous, adaptive) testing. Indeed, this training dynamic allows for maximum flexibility in testing practices and nearly unlimited adaptability to any project or client need by expanding upon the skill sets of all active testers

For years, iBeta has successfully accommodated all aspects of Software Quality Assurance including functionality testing, compatibility testing, mobile testing, biometrics testing, and more. Though some wonder how iBeta’s Quality Assurance resources adapt so quickly in their On-Demand QA model, our solution is quite simple. iBeta’s diversity of testers with various skill sets and experience levels available to support a variety of Quality Assurance needs.

We’re proud of the skills our testers possess and excited to share them with you. Contact us to learn more.
