It will be interesting to see the tone of the talk at the National Retail Federation’s Big Retail Show in January as retailers absorb the full import of the 2016 holiday shopping season. With major brands such as Nike experimenting with bypassing retailers, and in-store sales seeing year-over-year decreases, the retail industry will surely see a great deal of turmoil in the coming months and years.
